I concepted, sculpted, textured and animated my very first character B.T. during our 3-month module at SAE Hannover.

My concept is inspired by the Firelights (the actual bug) from Arcane, but is mostly a product of a lot of shape experiments in Z-Brush.

My animations on the other hand came to be, by the sheer amount of different video references (impossible to put them all into just one post). Moreover, a lot of standing up and enacting the animation, really helped me to understand or rather feel the timing, speed and force of the movements.

All the difficulties of this project were faced with the mentality of not giving up and a lot of trials and errors. Actually there are no errors, just opportunities to learn and grow. So I wish you all a happy growth, and hope you enjoy my project.
