What if a despicable couple could save their souls in Hell's casino ?
During a flight for a dream vacation, Johnny, a compulsive gambler and notorious crook, finds himself propelled to Hell with his wife Monica. To save their souls, they will have to confront and beat the Devil at his own game in Hell's Casino.

Lighting process
Still frames
Matte Painting
Matte painting came in handy for this part of the movie. Made according to the Devil's personnality: sharp and red.
It was created in photoshop and then in Nuke !
FX
From smoke to tears everything was done in Houdini !
Faking the reality
In order to have the result we wanted, we had to create props and blendshapes only used for one shot !
Characters
We were inspired by 2D cartoon character's shapes to create our four horsemen. It was a big challenge to go from concept art to 3D software and actullay make it work. They come to life thanks a to an amazing rig !
Lip Sync
To convey the right emotions we created differents shapes of teeth. The animators did a great job by making seamless transitions with them !
Props
The goal was to make readable shapes without making them look like toys.
