The Frog that Wanted to be an Astronaut

This is my final project for my Introduction to 2D Animation course. It's the first animation that I do that hasn't got the constraints of a class exercise, so I had a lot of fun experimenting with it.

The backgrounds are made with watercolours and embellished digitally with some contours.

Fun fact

The sounds are made recording random things in my home, some of them are:
- Distant frogs and crickets recorded from my garden (background noise)
- Keys clinking (when stars appear)
- Scratching a metal bottle (shooting star)
- Mouth noise (fishbowl blop)
- Rubbing rocks together (froggy noises)
- Dry leafs and eggshells (fishbowl crash)
