King Morad & The General
These are 2 projects that I have presented for my intermediate and advanced semesters at Think Tank Training Centre.
King Morad (Sultan Murad)
This is my 9-week final project at Think Tank Training Centre for the advanced semester.
The concept art is from Grafit Studio on behance.net.

Block-out:
To create this project, I blocked out most parts of the character with Zbrush. Then I brought the base mesh of cloths into Marvelous for simulation. When I did this part I cleaned up the topology in Maya and polished it inside Zbrush.
Turban
To create the turban, which was challenging, I started it directly in Marvelous and then did the other steps of retopology and polishing inside Maya and Zbrush.
Embroidery
Another challenging part was creating the embroidery pieces on the fabric and accessories. For straight lines like fabric borders, I used the 3D path tool in Substance Painter. However, for the patches, I have to create separate maps using the Substance Sampler and then combine the exported maps with the original textures.
Here is an example of what I did.
Feather
Creating a feather could be a time-consuming prosses for modelers, but I found my workflow to make it. first I tried to sculpt a feather in Zbrush but the result didn't attract me. So I decided to create it like the hair. To create the required textures, first, I gathered some free pictures and combined them to create an Ambient Occlusion map! Since I already knew I could make the other maps using AO inside Photoshop. This is the final result.
Hair&Beard
For hair, I created hair cards in Maya using the GS CurveTools plugin. I also created the hair textures with Fibershop.
Skin Texturing
I have done the facial skin details using XYZ and 3D Scan Store textures. I have used the Zwrap plugin inside Zbrush to project the displacement map. I also created All other required textures inside Substance Painter.

Texturing
I used the XYZ displacement map and Zwrap to project the facial skin. The secondary needed maps are created inside Substance Painter.
Embroidery
As mentioned above, the challenging part for me was the embroidery part on the clothing. I wanted it to look realistic. So I took advantage of the new feature added to Substance 3d Sampler for creating embroidery stuff.
The General's Gun
For the gun, I created the base mesh in Maya and sculpted it inside Zbrush, and texturing was done inside Substance Painter.

Real-time Render (Marmoset Toolbag)
I couldn't upload the Marmoset file with the original texture quality. Since the limitation to upload is 25MB and my original file is more than 40MB. So I had to reduce the texture size during the export.
And finally, a special thanks to my college, Think Tank, as they have provided very professional training to allow me to improve my skills. I also want to thank my supervisor, Saurabh, for his helpful feedback and comments on my King Morad project.
