EDS-93 Zadak Plasma Discharger Recreation
Developed for a Hard Surface Weapon Module, I had to recreate a weapon from a given game. I chose to recreate the Plasma Discharger from Alien Fireteam Elite. As well as creating the weapon, I made a custom organic skin for the weapon below.
The primary objectives of the module were to create a replicated game model utilizing hard surface modelling techniques and production pipelines. This involved employing Fusion 360 for mesh blockout, developing hybrid blockouts, conducting high-poly sculpting using ZBrush, and implementing specialized unwrapping techniques tailored for hard surface objects. These methods were applied to facilitate efficient baking and texturing processes.
This next set of images is for a custom skin that I made for the weapon, using the same process as before to add a damaged organic theme to the structure, and the texture.
