Sci-fi Octopus Diver
The project is a blend between multiple elements coming from the Sci-fi genre but also from the Fantasy one. The Idea starts from a Futuristic version of the Sea Diver mixed with a Medieval Armor. Everything is then themed around the Octopus, especially on the armor and the base, that will recall a rocky beach.

FINAL UPDATE - Definitive Renders
I managed to fix some of the textures on the meetmat base by implementing the water effect and adding some textures for fishes and seashells. I lowered the armor palette and added some decals and details over the model's arms.

Render Step 1
Even with the deadline's extension, I still felt to drop some of the first renders for the final MeetMat!
I managed to add details such as ornaments, dirt, belts and fabric textures all around the model, plus a couple of adjustments for the base displacement and some fixes around the textures heights.

On the 4th update I fixed some textures issues and carry on an advanced step for the metal normal maps. I also managed to add more details over the base.

Development over the decals & decors, second path over the armor's ornaments and displacement adjustments.

I managed to edit the textures and start a first Decals & Decor Step.

Update 1
For the first step, I managed to place the initial textures over the model along with hights and displacement maps. The model recalls a vintage diver along all the body and is blended with modern fabrics and sci-fi themes.
