Pang Eu Kern (3D artist)

Welcome to Japanese Food Town, i created this town inspired from my love for Japanese food.

This is the start of the Japanese Food Town, a small Ramen Cart. In the initial design the Ramen Cart doesn't have enough identities to identify it as Ramen Cart, that's why i put a huge ramen bowl on top of the roof. However i still think it is not enough so i added chopstick to act as a guide for people to focus on the Ramen Bowl. 

When i was planning what to model for the sushi stall to make it interesting, i saw restaurants serving sushi in a boat, so i use it as an example and model it out.

As for this model when i was reading about Japanese culture, they love to offer sake to the god so with that in mind i model this with a small shrine on top of the building to make it looks like this building is offering a sake to the god.

The reason why this dango model has different base compare to other model (square base and with roof tile) is because of the first word of "dango" it has a meaning for gathering and reunion. Therefore i design the entire model with round figure in mind and the entire model is bigger compare to the rest since it is meant for people to gather so bigger the better.

I saw that in Japan people love to create a very cozy spot to enjoy a cup of tea, so with that in mind i create the model to look like a cozy home for people to enjoy a cup of tea.

This is a group project that i do in overseas internship, im just asset artist in this project i didn't texture anything in video. As for the Gun and Shield in sketchfab i texture it to showcase how i do texture with real life texture.
