The assignment was to come up with a design concept for a co-working office space that is located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

The Concept

The keywords of the concept are Geometry, Bold and Colourful. The keyword Geometry was inspired by the geometric logo of the company. While the keywords Bold & Colourful are inspired by the company’s identity of having as much fun as humanely possible. The concept started with a simple geometric shape, the square, Then this shape was outfitted with an outer layer of geometric facades. They were even sometimes placed in fun ways and stacked on top of one another.

For the Meeting Room, I implemented a feature that should ignite a sense of nostalgia in people. When the smart glass of the Meeting Room is switched on, an animation of Tetris would begin to play on the translucent glass. The brick walls of the Meeting Room are placed in a way that invokes a sense of pixelation.
