My name is Gustavo García, right now I am in my first semester as a student of the 3D Animation Program at the CEA Langara in Vancouver BC. Super happy to share my work again in this platform. A little about my past, I worked as a Video Director and 2D Motion Grapher for over 8 years for one of the largest Bank's in Latin America. I found that job to be fun, passionate and hard working, I was happy. But for me something was missing, I wanted to do something different related to art and technology, that was when I decided to change my career and start in the 3D field, mostly as a self taught artist I discovered my new passion, this is a breakdown of my projects so far:

My last project was an attempt of likeness from GOT character Roose Bolton. So far, this one is the best. The reason is that with this project I finally understood the importance and the relevance of the Maps. The opportunity areas that I see are to keep improving the forms and likeness.

My next project was Stannis Baratheon, and something that I learnt with this one was being able to understand better how Xgen and how color work.

My next project was Don Diego de Zama, from an Argentinian movie called Zama. This project was mostly an exploration in every way. Something that I do learnt was how Marvelous Designer works and the workflows involved.

My last project was Jorah Mormont, this one was my initial character, and the fist time that I used some of this tools. It was a challenging project and I am still happy with the final image result. I can see now a lot of areas to improve, but still very proud for the path I had chosen to follow.

Finally here a sneak peak of the character I am working on right now.

Thank you for watching.
