I present my personal work which was done in the last few weeks. The goal of this project is to create a photorealistic 3D model for VFX/3D animation which is close to the reference photo as much as possible.

The 3D asset was made with Subdivision Surface workflow. I used Maya for modelling, UV unwapping and look development. Substance Painted was used for texturing. Finally, the scene was rendered with Renderman.


The most challenging aspect of this asset is the folds. My approach was making one element then duplicating it to make the desired part.

For UV layout, I tried to get every parts the same texel density.

Texturing was done with non-destructive workflow in mind. That means staying procedural as much as possible with all painted elements in masks.
