Story Description

The story is set in the Heian period of Japan, a time when humans and ghosts lived together, and a pair of 'yokai' fulfilled their own ways of good and evil. Although they are born as 'yokai', they are able to distinguish between good and evil in humans. They live in the deep forest, guarding the good people who stray into the forest and leading the way for them. They punish the wicked for their sins, and break their sins.

The Catcher

The story takes place in ancient “Yun Bei" City, which is a very prosperous town. The "Yun Bei" jetty was the most lively place because many merchants from other places would come to the "Yun Bei" jetty for trading. In this lively place, people often have their things stolen. There is a rumor that recently there is a land and water creature that moves very fast, and it is that creature that steals people's things. Ling heard the rumor and was very interested and wanted to catch the creature to become one of her own collectible.

The night before the ‘DongZhi', Xiuying was preparing the ingredients for making ’Tang Yuan’. Seeing Yuanyuan was not asleep, Xiuying asked her for help. Yuanyuan came to the world of ‘Tang Yuan’ on the way to making 'Tang Yuan'. Those ‘Tang Yuan’ in the world of ‘Tang Yuan’ were made by her and her mother. Finally, she met a 'Tang Yuan’ that resembled her mother and pulled her back to reality.
