Matte Painting

These are some matte paintings that I did during my study time at The One Academy. These paintings mostly were executed by photobash techniques and 3D blender.

Japanese Pirate - IP Project

A personal visual development project that I did which inspired by Japanese mythical folklore. For the art direction, I went with semi-realistic which was executed by painting and photobash techniques.

A magnificent treasure was appeared after an undersea earthquake. However, people need to cross the eerie sea which call "Dead Sea" then can get the treasure. Groups of pirates which belong different family clans start a bloody war to fight over the treasure. As captain of her clan, she leads an expedition to the Dead Sea to get the treasure.

Ci Huan - Group Project

A final year group project that I did during my study time which inspired by Chinese and Japanese folklore.

A female ghost raises a baby boy abandoned in the forest and then she originally plans to suck his soul when he grows up but she changed her mind.

Li Yang desperately cried when he saw Ci Huan attacked by the villagers because he can't save her.

An Uninvited Visitor - Li Yang is carrying the lantern and running away in panic to the lit hut in the dark forest when shouted by villagers.

The Experience - Li Yang sees many different types of fancy lanterns which are hanging around the trees when he first time go to the village with curiosity.
