Therefore, the designer aims to create a chair to increase awareness to prevent coronavirus, decrease the transmission of COVID-19 in a population and encourage physical separation during this critical period. 

This furniture is named Le blindée because it is inspired by Armadillo. Blindée means armored in French which is in line with its characteristics. Not only just by the shape of Armadillo itself, but it will also roll up into a ball to protect itself when threatened by a predator. This is similar to the current global situation.

Getting close and making friends is human nature. Compared with the social distancing furniture nowadays, although those have the function of reducing the spread of coronavirus, it is bulky, impractical, and also at a high cost. These are the common flaws for such furniture. Le blindée is a creative, aesthetic, flexible, and comfortable furniture while still providing thoughtful design and function. It will renovate the market undeniably.

This furniture covers an extremely wide range of potential consumers. It mainly focuses on those high-risk age groups which include elder people and children.
