Callout Sheet & Additional Design Iterations

The Quartine have four tendrils for hands, so a regular hilt would not be as efficient for wielding a tool. Instead, their tools would be more ergonomic with sockets for their tendrils to slide in and grip.

The main scouting tool shown in the callout sheet would be used to create small holes in the side of cliffs to either create hand holds for climbing or to plot an area for mining resources.

Number 3 would act in a similar way, puncturing holes in vertical terrain, but it would be used for softer natural materials such as moss and vines. 

Number one was the first design, acting as more of a default, multi-functional tool.
