Real-time forest environment inspired by the paintings of Ivan Shishkin. Assembled and composed in Unreal Engine 5. Optimization was the main priority. All tree branches and ground foliage assets have multiple LODs. The tree trunks use nanite.

Tree creation overview and atlases. All created inside of SpeedTree. Unlike the Pine, the Aspen branches were modeled in Max using the atlas exported from SpeedTree.

All ground foliage assets were created in SpeedTree using scanned textures from Quixel, which I then assembled into an atlas for better optimization.

Distant mountain meshes and masks were made with Gaea.
