A rebranding project for the Paul Taylor Dance Company. Inspired by the studio's location, New York City, as well as movement and dance, a logo was created, that informed the entire visual system.

ABOUT & INSPIRATION

The task was redesigning the current Paul Taylor’s Dance Company logo.

Paul Taylor is an American modern dance company, based in New York City, which was founded by the famous dancer with the same name.

The new logo is inspired by Paul Taylor’s dance style, as well as the studio's location in New York City. It illustrates the dynamism and rhythm of the two, as well as their geometry. Another inspiration comes from Art Deco patterns.
