I made these quickly to learn about therookies.co and to force myself to finish something on a deadline.

I created that low-poly outline of my glasses from the start and then using modifiers I mirrored, skinned and subdivided the mesh to make the frame. Then I copied the lens part of the frame and I filled it and pulled the middle out to make the lenses curve.
I also added a neat gradient to the lenses that I really like. There are also some fingerprint smudges on it for extra realism.
