I realized that 3D is my passion after I finish my architecture studies in college

As a child, I was playing Lego Star Wars on the PSP and decided I wanted to be a games tester. Then as I grew up that dream evolved into being a game artist.

I've wanted to work in entertainment design in a serious way since I graduated from art school and found the most meaningful media consumption myself and my peers engaged in was film and video games. I see people connecting with characters from pop culture and it drives me to create.

When I got the hang of 3D, the idea clicked on my that I could make games with those skills, well, at least be part of a groups making games.

I've studied art for roughly 5 or 6 years, at a fundamental level during my last years of secondary school and in 2 years of sixth form, before specialising in computer games art at Anglia Ruskin University. Since then my anticipation to become part of a team making games has really cemented and I spend a lot of my time in and out of university trying to improve my skills. I'm now in my final semester and I'm eager to show what I've learnt.

From the first 3d game I was introduced to as a child: 3d balance ball.

When I saw my local college had a Game Design course I immediately knew what path I was meant to pick in life

I was very inspired by film and video games and the concept art behind it. It is so incredible how they involved from sketch to final concept

I have always loved video games and spent much of my youth playing and collecting art books! When the time came to choose a career path, I didn't believe i could be the lucky one to be a part of such an amazing industry and as such I went down a different path. Fast forward 5 years, I came back to 3D via blender and just did it for fun and then I decided this is what I am going to do and I am going to make it!

In 2012 I started drawing characters for tattoos. From there it progressed to a passion to create 3d game characters.

I first fell in love with concept art when I was about 11 years old, and I always ran with my imagination. I found out about a games design course at my sixth form college and fell in love with 3D modelling, then moving onto university I studied computer games art for 3 years and specialized in environment art.

I have always had an interest in creative persuits and games. I loved lego and drawing as a child and played my PS2 to death. When I left collage I thought that I wanted to be an engineer, I realised that I haded all the maths and physics and just wanted to do 3D modelling. I ended up changing course at uni to study Computer Games Art after realising that I could work on what I loved doing what I enjoyed most.
