Student Portfolio
Hi! My name is Rebecka and I’m a 3D art student who loves character art. This entry consists of the three assets I created for my portfolio course at The Game Assembly. They have all been a blast to create and I’ve learned a lot from this process.
The Veteran Jerboa mount.
This is the first piece I made as part of my portfolio at The Game Assembly. I wanted to take an asset the whole way from concept to a fully rigged and game ready character. I got inspired by all the different kinds of jerboas and how good they are at jumping, It would be so fun to have a giant one to ride on through the dessert, like an express camel! To sell the idea that this fellow can take you safely to your destination I added some scars to show that this is not the first trip this mouse has made. And a added moustache for fun.

Process with the finnished highpoly last.
A selection of the references used.
Wireframe and lowpoly model, the model ended up at 45k tris total, the body 22k and the equipment 23k.
This was a very fun project and I got a lot of help with feedback from classmates and friends!
Gambler- concept by Pavel Hristov
For this project I got permission to interpet Pavel Hristovs cool concept of a gambler. My goal was to capture the characters attitude. Because of time limits I opted to not make a game ready asset.
The legs where not included in the concept so I made up a pair of shoes I thought would fit.
The dress, pants and leather belt was made in marvelous designer and then refined in zbrush.
If I had more time I would have loved to spend it on the textures and make the model game ready.
An alternative pose!

Some material breakdown
Mantua dress
For this project I wanted to continue my work on a dress I made in Marvelous Designer for an earlier course. It was a big challenge for me from beginning to end but my long time fascination of historical fashion helped me keep my motivation up! I wanted to stylize it a bit as well, so I looked a lot at how Dishonored’s clothes fold. I’m happy I was able to take this asset to a game ready state and I realize I have a lot to learn about clothes still.
A few of my references and construction sketches. I mostly based the dresses design on the green dress with flower pattern.
Wireframe, the dress is about 9,5k tris
I had so much fun with the lace sleves.
Small breakdown and highpoly. I painted all the needed patterns in photoshop to make my life easier.
I had so much fun creating these projects and I want to thank my classmates, teachers, friends and family for the feedback and support!
