Flatmates
What if your flatmate was literally a monster? In this series pilot, students Bea, Tom and Maggie find out just how terrifying and useful that can be.
This was made for my final project at university, inspired by early 2000s cartoons and my experience learning to live with others and opening up to new people.
Character Concepts
I wanted to include nods to cartoons like Spongebob Squarepants and Ed Edd n Eddy with extreme close-ups and boiling lines. My resulting film has a nostalgic, but not outdated feel which I believe will really appeal to those in their late teens and early twenties.
I also included several background gags within the film; like the picture in the bathroom changing in every shot. Can you spot each detail?
