Concept: SCAD's busy bees need to efficiently and quickly fuel their head, hand, and heart to help boost their creative productivity, and make it to class in time. Offering students multiple options of checkout, including self-service stations, will minimize unnecessary wait times and chaotic assemblage.
Located inside the existing Savannah College of Art and Design in Midtown Atlanta, GA
Furniture & Fixtures: Collaboration tables with standing‑height, USB and outlet ports. Chairs with no upholstery for easy clean-ability. Small group tables for individuals to sit rather than a large table. Fun shape and color fixtures relates back to the youthful users.
Materials: Wood panels brings warmth back into the urban concept. Color blocking draws emphasis and creates designated space. Floating ceilings pulls attention and separates areas.
