The Ghost edition

Abstract:

This is Aston Martin DB-E Coupe (Ghost edition) concept car. The idea emerged from the timeless concept of the "less is more". Introducing smooth lines that flows in harmony to build beautiful looking muscular body of the car was a real fun. Biomimcry is a key element in my design workflow. It can be touched in this design when you find out that the design was originally inspired from the reptiles.

Building the scene was a bit tricky! I had to use the subsurface scattering and introducing different light sources. "Need for Speed Heat" theme has inspired me to use the magenta and blue lights to make the scene more mysterious and angry. 

Video production was really enjoyable. It was really difficult to use the render engine for autofocus and glitch effects. As a result, I used the video production as a smart tool to generate those effects in an easy, yet effective way. 

Finally, I have used Autodesk Fusion 360 for modelling, Autodesk VRED for rendering/ animating and Blender for video production.

I would like to thank The Rookies Studio and the judgement panel for introducing this contest on a yearly basis. I feel honoured for participating in such contest and getting recognised among this amazing community of artists. Browsing my entries over years gives me a positivity towards my progress.
