This is the result! I'm happy about having learnt a lot during the process. Can't wait to make new tileable materials!

Hi everyone!

This is the first time I'm entering a contest of The Rookies. The truth is that I'd like to have more time to carry out a more complete project, but I have decided to reduce it to a manageable one, which perhaps I will be able to continue developing it after the dead line.

Having the theme of Stranger Things as an excuse has been great to decide what project I was going to do exactly. As my idea was to make my first material using Substance Designer, I decided to choose an interesting setting and scene from the series: the Byers family bathroom (the main wall) where Will is sent for a few seconds to the upside down dimension in the last episode of the first season.

Having that said, below you can see the moodboard and the result in Substance Designer's viewport of the material on its' "normal" version. I'll try to make the upside down version now!
