We’re seeking films that blend remarkable 2D animation with captivating storytelling. Who Should Enter?

This category is ideal for artists and filmmakers specializing in 2D animation, including:

• Traditional Animators: Artists who excel in hand-drawn frame-by-frame animation.
• Digital 2D Animators: Creators using digital tools to produce engaging 2D animated films.
• Storyboard Artists and Directors: Talents focused on crafting visual narratives in 2D.

Important Notes

• Films must predominantly feature 2D elements; 3D elements can be included but should not be the main focus.
• Submit a completed film or teaser trailer. Individual assets or clips are not eligible.
• Films currently on the Film Festival Circuit are accepted (password required for secure viewing).
• Include supporting material to illustrate the film’s creation process and challenges.
• Team entries are allowed. One team member should submit the project and tag collaborators.
• Films must not have been released prior to June 2022.

Judging Criteria

Judges are looking for films that excel in both creative and technical aspects, with a strong emphasis on storytelling. The key factors include:

• Overall presentation and artistic quality.
• Technical skills in 2D animation.
• Creativity and effectiveness in storytelling.

2. Upload your film, images, videos, and supporting media.
3. Select ‘Film of the Year > 2D Animation’ as your category.
4. Add details like cover image, title, description, tags, and software used.
5. Accept rules and confirm eligibility.
6. Confirm & Submit your entry to the judging panel.
