I think, like a lot of people, creative media was an essential way of how I connected with others and learned to understand the world from my early childhood. At some point, as a teen, passing notes in class about the latest game mechanic we had dreamed up or the next plot twist in our epic future blockbuster led to the realization that interactive media was a way I could share what I felt was the universality of the human experience and remind people that they aren't alone on their journey.
