I would say that playing through Dark Souls for the first time was the turning point in my appreciation for games and game art. The immaculate attention to details in the environment, the incredibly world building, and the ability to tell a story through level design and construction makes for a compelling experience. I knew I wanted to be a part of something like that one day, and that has been what I am working towards every day since.
