I aimed to be part of the film industry and be able to work on blockbusters such as Avengers, Starwars, and Ready Player One as an FX TD.

My family was part of China's early film industry in the '80s. Growing up, I watched many films but the ones that really enjoyed are Matrix, Lord of the Rings, and Starwars. Although I previously pursued a technical career by studying Computer Science at the University of California Irvine, I always knew I had a passion for film deeply embedded in me. After my internship at China Film Group Corporation, I returned to the U.S. to start school at Gnomon and tackle on CG art for the first time.
