I'd love to someday work as a character designer or concept artist for big animation for film or for video game companies.

It's funny because I don't think I ever really had a single, crystallizing moment of realization like most artists do. I always was a creative individual, I always wanted to be in my own little world, so it wasn't unusual for me to gravitate towards being on the consumer end of creative media and entertainment industry as a youngster in the form of immersing myself in video games, animated films, comic books and fiction novels.
