I had been working towards a Computer Science degree at a college in Santa Barbara when I decided to jump ship and move to LA to pursue a creative career. I found no joy in what I was doing previously, and didn't want to waste my youth following a path I would definitely end up regretting. As a kid, I grew up loving video games, drawing, writing - basically escaping into other worlds anytime I could. I took an oil painting class at that college that lit that spark in me again, so I chased it.
