Inspired by the best animation schools in the world, ESCENA burst onto the Latin American animation scene in 2010 with a revolutionary 3-year degrees in Animation and Illustration & Concept Art. Our goals are: academic quality, your artistic training and a lifestyle around art. Our staff of teachers are renowned artists in the industry. In ESCENA you will live a unique experience. Students' final project is usually a Short Film graduating as Director, Producer or Artist. More often than not, beyond their final project, students acquire experience in other projects assisting their fellow students. In addition to being extremely focused Animation, Illustration and Concept Art Degree, students have access to an in-house studio where they can apply their knowledge from day one to real projects. Having an animation studio also allows ESCENA to balance student talent with the best teaching talent since, in addition to being teachers, they are active artists in the industry where they continue with their personal projects within the studio.

Bachelor’s Degree in 3D Modeling and Animation
This degree will make you a digital artist capable of developing and understanding the artistic processes of 3D modeling and animation in the entertainment industry. During our three and a half year program, you will develop the skills necessary to become a professional 3D artist ready to work globally in areas such as film, video games, and post-production. The degree is made up of nine semesters made up of four subjects. It is very important that you have full-time availability, because we know that to be great you have to travel a path of great discipline and effort.
Upon graduation from your bachelor’s degree, you will have a portfolio of work that will demonstrate your critical thinking, conceptualization skills, and mastery of techniques in 3D modeling and animation.
Bachelor of Illustration and Concept Art
This bachelor will immerse you in the art of expressing ideas and visual concepts in any medium.
Throughout our three and a half year program, you will develop the skills necessary to become a professional illustrator capable of solving any visual challenge in traditional and digital media, to respond to the demands of the entertainment industry. The degree is made up of nine semesters made up of four subjects. It is very important that you have full-time availability, because we know that to be great, you have to travel a path of great discipline and effort.
Upon graduation from your bachelor’s degree, you will have a portfolio of work that will demonstrate your critical thinking skills, conceptualization skills, and mastery of techniques in drawing, illustration, compositing, design, character creation and development, narrative, and traditional animation.
