Wildlife Returns to Argentina!
This painting depicts various endangered species in Argentina and people at national parks working to rewild the population in these scenic locations. I chose the green-winged macaw as one of the main subjects because it was recently brought back to Ibera through the rewilding program. If you look closely you’ll see the macaw’s wing turns into the map of Argentina and surrounding him are various landmarks from the national parks involved in this program. (Parque nacion Monte Leon, Aconquija, El Impenetrable and a few other Argentinian landmarks & endangered species)
