Purpose:

I wanted to challenge myself by re-creating a complex environment in 3D. I decided early on not to create an exact replica (regarding sizing, proportion, etc.) Instead, I wanted to be faithful to the feeling invoked by the original artwork. I wanted to create a feeling of activity yet stillness.
