Character Name TBH

I wanted to take advantage of the blog post feature to be able to better connect and share what I'm working on! A company I work for is doing a Halloween/horror themed contest with members of the company. I wanted to show some WIP of how it's going, and continue to blog the progress itself.

REFERENCE IMAGES:

The character will be a horrific creature with more of a western outfit. For some reason I thought the face of the Russian Sleep Experiment would be a perfect match to go with a western suit and cowboy hat.

Most of the charter's body will be covered in clothing, so I will most likely be doing the wardrobe in marvelous designer, and sculpt the head/face separate. Texturing will also be key to give the character a more grotesque appearance to any exposed flesh and skin.

HEAD SCULPT PROGRESS:

Since the characters whole body will be covered in clothing, besides the face. I decided to create a quick base model in Make-human, and will take that into Marvelous Designer to fit the clothing and pose the character with it.

For now, I have another project file working on sculpting the head separate from everything else and will pose that back with the body. Since the final product is a still image I don't need to worry about any kind of rigging or animation for the character besides posing.

And that's about it! I'll update the progress as I go, but this is a start. Any suggestions or feedback is always welcomed, and would love to hear what you all think.
