Modeling and Texturing
A collection of different prop projects demonstrating my 3D modelling, texturing and rendering ability.
Leica Camera
I modeled the Leica in Maya and textured it in Substance Painter. I set up a lighting scene in Arnold, and utilised the rendering service YellowDog to create 2 different turntable animations. This was my first time creating a turntable sequence, using Arnold and using a rendering service so I learned a lot during this project and heightened my skills in both modeling and texturing.
'Christobel' - Classical Guitar
'Christobel' This was my grandmas guitar, now passed down to me. She did the decoupage flowers herself, I love the guitar so much so I was excited to model it. The guitar was modeled in Maya, textured in Substance Painter and rendered in Keyshot. This project helped me to further understand Substance Painter with certain textures I hadn't attempted before.
Vespa Primavera
I modeled the Vespa in Maya and textured it in Substance Painter. I created various textures and alphas for the logos and badges. I used the IRay renderer within Substance for these renders.
This project was for 3D Asset Creation class at CDW Studios, and it tested my modeling ability in the limited time frame I had available before the deadline, and I only used the tutorials for creating the tires.
Halina A1 Camera
I created this camera for Intro to 3D class at CDW Studios. This was the first major project of the class. The camera is a retro Halina AI, a TLR made in Hong Kong. I modeled the camera in Maya, textured in Substance, and then rendered in Keyshot and Photoshop
