This digital sculpture is my design of a robotic bat themed femme fatale.
The trickiest part was learning to manage hundreds of small meshes.
Here's the rough design and color scheme.
I wanted to learn more soft and hard modelling techniques and this model was the result. The loose idea was an exoskeleton powered spelunker.
This character is a kleptomaniac delinquent. I was looking at 60s hairstlyes, cartoon burglars, and school uniform tropes.
I'm still learning about good topology and making low poly base meshes.
I was playing around with silhouettes. When I found a shape I liked, I developed an android character inspired by medieval nobility fashion and aliens.
I'm primarily interested in figurative art and I want my zbrush models to have the subtlety of traditional clay sculpture. So I sculpted this fairy in oil-based Chavant clay. The armature is free standing with steel wires in the legs to support the weight of the sculpture.
An amputee stopping time with her new prosthetics.
A slick spy illustration. I'm grappling with perspective and repeating textures.
After reading A Princess of Mars, I just had to do an illustration inspired by Princess Dejah Thoris. The result was Egyptian looters and a vengeful goddess.
