Student Work
This project imagines architecture as a” filter” of the urban condition. Specifically, different inputs are controlled through a series of triangular planes. The modulated conditions include: light, privacy, heat, sound and views. For light, the planes are angled to create a diffuse light condition on one side, with direct light conditions possible on the opposite side. This provides painters with choices in terms of light conditions; diffuse light for working and direct light for variation.
