36 Days of Type is a project that invites designers, illustrators and graphic artists to give
their particular view on the signs from our alphabet.
36 Days of Type of restless creativity, in which participants are challenged to design a letter or number for each day, resulting in an overall view about the ability to represent the same sign from different perspectives.
For this year, I just wanted to get my feet wet working quickly under very tight deadlines with every project having a completely new idea exploring a new tool or a technique. It wasn't successful with every single piece, but I learned a ton from this approach. This was my first big project and I am happy that I got to learn about so many different parts of Blender (like cloth, hair, sculpting, animation, freestyle, and most of all procedural shading).
I wanted to use the tools and resources available to everyone so that I can share the project files once it is finished. (You can find them at http://bit.ly/2OFqGUA)
Some of my favourites from this project are shared below. If you want to see the full-size versions for all the letters, please visit- https://www.artstation.com/devanshutak25
