Imagine a reality where the first world war never ended, where the tides of conflict washed up on British shores. To turn it back, the Outrider Core is deployed, dropping heaving mechs onto the front lines. They are the allies latest and last line of defence, the screaming Valkyries of hope in the War Without End!
Oklahoma: The War Mech
I've always loved the aesthetic of the early 20th century, from the decadence of the 20s to the brutal war-era machinery and attire. I also have a tiny soft spot for enormous robots n' mechs! Oklahoma was a tough build and I'm not entirely happy about the final result, something about the final shine of the metal just isn't quite as interesting as I'd hoped it would be and I wish I'd painted more variety into the normal and roughness maps. Overall though, it was a good exercise in high speed unwrapping and for getting me to break away from the typical boxy look a lot of simple models have as I was forced to study the unique shape language of the first and second world war.
