Hi, I graduated last May from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in computer animation. With a focus on environment art and props, I present you some of the best projects from 2022-2023.

Round of applause for our sponsors

Hero prop of my capstone project, it's a going away gift to my school. Made based on a real CTA train that was painted this way and was made to look like in the TLOU world. In the scene, this train crashed through the school ceiling and stopped in the hallway.

Stickers on the side of the train are my friend and teachers in art who all sent me a little art thing that represents them, a cool way to remember my time here at Columbia.

Made with Blender, Zbrush, and Substance Painter. Rendered with Blender. Nanite mesh and UE5 ready.

It is worth mentioning that this artwork is featured on all social media platforms of Columbia College Chicago.

Capstone project for my senior year at Columbia College Chicago. I decided to make one of our classrooms and hallway into a TLOU-style game environment. Assets were made using Blender, Zbrush, Substance Painter, and speed tree. The final scene was composed and rendered using Unreal Engine 5 in real-time.

My submission for the 2023 ArtStation challenge "Medieval: Back and Forth" game prop art (real-time) category.

Designed, modeled, and textured by me. I imagined a world where students bring swords and shields to school every day and what they will look like in the near future. With a strong sci-fi element, I also added stickers and paint like how college students put stickers on their laptops to show personality.

Made using Blender, Zbrush, Substance Painter, and rendered with Marmoset 4.

"Reversed Scale" Shield

"SHEEN" Sword

"Wisper" Bow

Modeling practice based on "Rolling Thunder" by Fernando Correa, exploring modeling nanite mesh for weapons. Made with Blender, Zbrush, and Substance Painter, rendered with Blender.

This is the original art from Fernando Correa on ArtStation

Approved by FC himself : )

Moonlight Greatsword is my all-time favorite weapon from From Software games, I made this one with my own interpretations based on all the other Moonlight Greatswords from their other games.

Made with Blender, Zbursh, and Substance Painter. Rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 4.

Prop I made for game art class, inspired by the old school auto play piano and reimagine it in a retro-futuristic fashion. The name Willifornia just came from my friend Willy who always talks about how he will build this town and name it that way, I just think it's funny to reference that.

Made with Blender and Substance Painter, rendered with Marmoset Toolbag 4.

I was also in charge of the motion graphics on the display, made the animation in after effects, and used that as emissive map in toolbag.

Thank you for watching : )
