May A Tale Be Spun

This is a pre-production concept for the project titled May A Tale Be Spun. It was a story about the knight brothers went to the castle to rescue the princess who was imprisoned by a rumored monster. The younger brother died to protect the elder brother, so the elder brother inherited his will and eventually killed the monster and saved the princess. When the princess hugged the elder brother, the spider silk slowly wrapped around him, revealing that the princess was the rumoured monster.

Character design - Lennox, the younger brother

Lennox is the protagonist's savior of his older brother. He has an impatient behaviour and is known to be a hasty type of person. The scarf Lennox was wearing was a gift from his older brother, who always had to watch out for him.

Prop design - Cyan Schwert

The story was set in a fantasy world with a blend of steampunk and magic in the middle ages. This multipurpose weapon may be used as a sword for close range combat and a bow for long-range battle. It was the perfect weapon for Lennox since he had always been a competitive warrior who wanted to take part in every fights, no matter how challenging it was.

Vehicle design - Sprachrohr 

The king who was the father of the imprisoned princess, gave the brothers a vehicle that could get them to the castle to save the princess. The king has sent countless strong soldiers into the castle to save the princess, offering gold as a prize, but no one has ever came out alive. Many years later, no warriors dared accept the king's offer, so when the brothers came to him, he was extremely excited and decided to get them ready for the battle by giving them a carriage specifically made for long distance travel to another country to announce the offer to save the princess. The speakers above the carriage are used to announced offer to save the princess and the carriage is powered by steam tech.

Creature design - Variant C

Variant C is the monster troop creature that roams around the castle and is in charge of feeding its queen creature. They strike by stabbing enemies with their sharp spiky legs, which also leave holes where they have crept on the walls and ceiling. 

Environment assets design - The princess' room

' When the princess hugged the elder brother, the spider silk slowly wrapped around him, revealing that the princess was the rumoured monster. ' The rumored monster has taken over the princess' corpse, able to shift into the princess form to trick enemies and has laid its eggs all over the princess' room to create a nest home.

Call out design - Nichtigkiet

Nichtigkiet is the dressing table located in the left side of the princess' room.

Key art 1 - Ertrinken 

The creature known as Ertrinken attacked the brothers as they tried to swim to land and dragged the older brother down as he tries to fight back.

Key art 2 - Schlacht 

The elder brother throw the candle on the ground when he saw the rumored monster in its creature's form hanging on the ceiling, while sliding out his sword, ready to avenge for his brother's death.

Pithovirus, a virus that can only infect animals

A few mystical asteroid pass close to Earth, dust shed from the asteroids rains down on our planet, pass through our atmosphere and land on earth, they mutated 70% of the animals from earth, turning them into destructive zombie creatures. Regular military weapons are ineffective against these zombies as they are able to regenerate their cells in a split second. Only plasma-energy weapon are effective on these creatures, thus the characters are military personnel who tasked with defending human life from the threats.

Character and Vehicle design 

Nova477 is a Military personnel, who defend humans from zombie-infected creatures with plasma energy weapons. Always in the forefront, capable of taking huge impact damage by using the plasma filed barricades a force field during combat to advance her comrade.

Environment assets design - Lab R

The laboratory R is a facility site for the zombie infected creatures that provides controlled conditions in whihc scientific or technological research, experiments and measurements be performed.

Creature design - Pitho7 type (R)

The zombie virus is known by the name Pitho and this creature number variant is 7. R stands for reptiles. Only animal can be infected with Pithovirus, which caused the animal's cell to mutate and envolve into a destructive creatures that pose a threat to humans. Pitho7 type (R) is one of the most dangerous creatures in all type (R)

Creature design - Pitho4 type (R)

The zombie virus is known by the name Pitho and this creature number variant is 4. R stands for reptiles. Only animal can be infected with Pithovirus, which caused the animal's cell to mutate and envolve into a destructive creatures that pose a threat to humans. Pitho4 type (R) is the only female in all type (R), the shells that form from her eyes to her body is as hard as steel, which makes it harder for predators to strike.

The zombie virus is known by the name Pitho and this creature number variant is 5. R stands for reptiles. Only animal can be infected with Pithovirus, which caused the animal's cell to mutate and envolve into a destructive creatures that pose a threat to humans. Pitho5 type (R) is just an extra variant I did for fun XD
