Souls Tears
This is our first game project that try to be similar to the game Jump King but adding some features like the knife/platform or the camera. In the gameplay video, links to the others animations can be found. Credits to: Carlos Sifre Monfort Analis Goulart Febrer Megan Fitzpatrick
My programming contribuition:
-Jump by release the space key
-When you hold, charges a longer jump and if you exceed the max, makes an autojump
-The direction of the jump its decided by the direction button pressed when you release the space key. Or jump straight
-You can hold and release to throw a knife. More you hold, stronger the throw
-The knife can be attached with enough strength to a platform
-You can use the attached knife as platform. This can move being slippery even broke and fall.
-The camera starts moving up after a while or at a specific point. When you take the blue flame souls, the camera stops and slowly increase his speed again
-Going out of the camera can kill you
-The tree enemy shoots fireballs. This can be used to increase or modify your jump
-The beholder bat enemy comes closer with an attack and goes away flying
-All the animations binded with the actions
