The Painter Guy 3d Character

Started my Advanced 3d Modeling class and finally chose my concept! I will be working on this painter guy concept made by Rinotuna. It is a very detailed concept and their are some fairly complex pieces among everything so I expect to learn a lot.

I started off with drawing over my concept, just so I can get a better idea of the shapes happening underneath the clothing. Then, I began blocking the painter guy out in zbrush.

I know that the props could take a bit of time so I figured I would work on them concurrently with the blocking stage. Instead of trying to rush creating them after the character is finished.

The first prop I tackled is the stepladder that Painter Guy is sitting on. I had a hard time trying to imagine what it would look like without him on top of it. Eventually I found some good reference, and blocked it out. It still needs some refining and UVs.
