Walkie-Talkie "Baofeng UV-S9"
Practicing with hard surface modeling. The goal of this project was to model an asset using reference photographs and enhance it with realistic textures. Low-Mid Poly game-ready radio. Modeling, UVs, Bake, Textures, and Rendering are done by me.
This project was a practice exercise in hard surface modelling.
To complete the project. I used reference photographs of the radio to create a 3D model of the asset, paying careful attention to details such as the shape, size, and placement of each component.
To enhance the realism of the model, I created a texture that would accurately simulate the appearance of metal, plastic, and other materials used in the construction of an actual radio, adjusting their properties such as colour, roughness, and reflectivity until they looked as realistic as possible.
The resulting asset is a low-mid poly game-ready radio.
I handled all aspects of the creation process, including modelling, UV mapping, baking, texturing, and rendering, ensuring a high-quality final product.
