The Renovation Project

The brief was to find a realestate ad in dire need of renovation and show the potential of the house. Both the material and props should relate to the location of the house and the chosen target demographics. Research was key. Analysing lighting and composition from realestate photographers. Researching similar types of houses and the habitat it is placed in.

To bring back personality to the house I chose to lift the roof and expose the beams which commonly can be seen in houses like these called “Skånelängor”. I chose to work with different types of wood and plaster. The demographics I chose to focus on were couples looking for a cosy modern haven in tune with nature.
