Lava Revealing Effect | Houdini & Redshift

This is my R&D for a revealing effect for product animation done in Houdini. The objective was to reveal the product with lava or molten steel fluid that hardens into a crust over time. The hardening process is fastened to shorten the clip just for the demo. The shading is done in Redshift by stacking a bunch of noises
