Updated the face and did the skin detailing

Adding some details to the character. Koi fish shield seems to be too much. After much research it seems like the small sword is called a magnum tanto II and the sword with the tassel seem to be of Chinese origin.

Starting a new character 3d model for my term 2 assignment at 3DSense Media School. We are tasked with making a whole AAA quality character for this assignment
The concept I choose is this wandering samurai type character. The concept is by Ajet. 

References

Collecting references are important as to make sure you understand the concept and also helps in the planning stage to help break down the character into different parts. I tend to have references from other 3D artist to remind me of the quality that I have to push towards and also have a bunch of real life references and texture references to get all those imperfections and details in order to achieve a realistic look with the character.
