This project I took a character from concepting to animation as well as an environment rendered out in Unreal Engine.

Round of applause for our sponsors
Through university I got the chance to create an 11 second short film as well as an accompanying environment. I took the robot character and environment from concept through to animation and am quite proud of the result.
The character was modelled, rigged and animated in Maya. Textured in Substance Painter. Ground fracture simulated in Houdini. The animation was rendered in Unreal. With still rendered in Blender.

Asset note: The environment consist of partly Megascans assets as well as AI generated imagery. The large mecha robot is from Turbosquid
