Temple of the Enlightened Mind - Chi Statue
This Chi statue was one of the major pieces I worked on during my third year 4 month university project, Temple of the Enlightened Mind.
This was one of the major pieces I worked on during my third year 4 month university project, The Temple of the Enlightened Mind. A Chi is a type of hornless dragon that are very common in Chinese mythology. They are often depicted as statues guarding ancient sites, particularly in the Forgotten City. This prop was perhaps the most challenging model I had to produce, focusing more on organic shapes and focussing more on character art. Design was mostly done in Zbrush, creating smooth edges and damaged areas to reinforce the ancient appearance.
