Takoyaki Day

Today is all about Takoyaki. I've been getting the hang of procedurals in Blender and I'm so happy I can semi get what I want using this software. I had so much fun giving it life and story. 

I had lots of references for this project but I mainly based on these ones. I wanted to focus on the individual textures to really bring it to the next level

Here are the finished renders, wanted to try having soft and somewhat harsh lighting. I rendered both of them in cycles and what differed is basically one had AO while the other didn't. Personally I prefer the soft lighting one but I do see some potential with the harsh shadows on the right one.
