Jumanji: short film

This is the first time I was doing a short film in 3D and it was a challenge for me to think about the concept, model the assets, plan a nice lightning and camera work, etc.

Being my first film and limited in time, I chose to make a scene in a closed space. I liked the idea of a loft or attic full of clutter. I put together images that came to mind from different audiovisual works: The Goonies, Uncharted 4, Stranger Things, Jumanji... In the end I decided to bring back the table game of Jumanji I did at the begining of the grade and make the scene about the movie.

My idea was to communicate in a one minute of video the beginning of an adventure that emerges from a board game hidden in a dusty attic. Also I wanted the game board and figures to be as true to the movie as possible.  I hope I was able to show that atmosphere.

I'm so happy of what I've achieved in 5 months of studying 3D art. Thanks again to my teacher, classmates and everyone who believed in me to start this journey. This is only the beggining :)
